My Story

My Journey

  • 🏠

    Early Life

Born in Bali-Nyonga, Cameroon. Grew up between Buea and Bali-Nyonga, with holiday visits to Yaoundé. Eldest daughter in a large family of 7 siblings and 10 step-siblings.

  • 📖

    Education

From Presbyterian School, Buea Town to Platt College in Norman, Oklahoma, USA. Holder of First School Leaving Certificate, O' & A' Levels, Bachelor's in Accounting, and a Professional Nursing License.

  • 🏆

    Early Lessons

As the eldest daughter, I cared for my younger siblings and learned responsibility early. My first paid work was on our family poultry farm.

  • 🩺

    Career & Service

Transformed from Accounting to Healthcare in the USA. Served as Hospice Nurse, Geriatric Nurse, and now a Pediatric Nurse. Dedicated to patient care and advocating for the most vulnerable.

  • 🧒

    Foster Mother & Advocate

Fostered medically dependent children for 7 years, improving their lives and reuniting many with their families. The smiles of these children remain my greatest reward.

  • 🏢

    Entrepreneur

Founder of Assured Pediatric Home Health Agency LLC - built with sacrifice, hard work, and God’s guidance.

  • 💍

    Marriage & Family

Happily married to Engr. Samson Ukaegbu. Our love story began on an aircraft and blossomed into a lifelong partnership. We have a beautiful blended family.

  • Faith & Community

A Presbyterian and woman of faith. Through Friends of Na Mamun, I support education, empower individuals, and contribute to community development.

Family Is My Foundation

My family is hardworking, God-fearing, humble, and family-oriented. Through every season of life, they remain my greatest strength, joy, and reason for living. If I had another life, I would choose the same family again.

Lessons I've Learned

  • Self-care is essential.
  • Know your worth.
  • Take responsibility for your life.
  • Do what is right, no matter the cost.
  • Walk according to your own footsteps.
  • Life is not a race.

How I Want To Be Remembered
